Bolt, rear engine crossmember to body

*BA22.10-P-1005-03G

	Removing
1	Align the vehicle	Align the vehicle horizontally in the longitudinal direction by loading with weights as appropriate. Measure vehicle inclination across the door sills, e.g. using a spirit level
2.1	Detach lower engine compartment paneling	Vehicles with gasoline engine
2.2	Remove bottom section of soundproofing	Vehicles with diesel engine
3.1	Remove trim on underfloor below the front rear axle carrier mount	Model 164: Only if the distance measurement and comparative measurement is carried out at the rear axle.
3.2	Remove trim on underfloor below the rear front axle carrier mount	Model 251: Only if the distance measurement and comparative measurement is carried out at the front axle.
4	Remove the two rear bolts on the rear engine crossmember (63)
5	Turn in threaded bolts (07n) of suspension (07) with shims (1)	Use washers (1), to ensure that the threaded stud (07n) fits correctly into the rear engine crossmember (63).

6	Insert and adjust hanger (07)		AR40.30-P-0401-01GZ

7	Insert telescopic measuring rod (06) with connecting parts onto retaining bolt using bubble level (024b)	Use relevant measuring bolt and measuring tip (024) for the corresponding distance or comparison measurement.
