Remove/install ESP brake pressure sensor - AR42.45-P-0816GZ

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

1 Turn key in ignition switch to position "0". IMPORTANT On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off  
2 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position   AR88.40-P-1000GZ
3 Detach rubber seal (1) in the area of the section, left partition wall (4)    
4 Remove bolt (2)    
5 Detach section, left partition wall (4) from the clips (3)    
6 Suction off brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir (5)    
7 Disconnect electrical connector (6) from ESP brake pressure sensor (B34)    
8 Detach ESP brake pressure sensor (B34) from tandem master brake cylinder (7) IMPORTANT Collect brake fluid which runs out with an absorbent rag or in a suitably marked container.  
TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA42.45-P-1001-01J 
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Bleed brake system   AR42.10-P-0010GZ 
FLUID SPECIFICATION Brake fluid *BF42.10-P-1001-01G 
11 Check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir (5) and correct if necessary    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE Brake system - inspect fluid level   AP42.10-P-4210GZ
12 Read out fault memory STAR DIAGNOSIS system *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
INSPECT Checking     
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.
