Operation step 9

	Remove/install
1	Open panoramic sliding roof	On vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof
2	Remove cover (2)
3	Remove inside rearview mirror (A67)
4	Remove electronic overhead control panel (N70/3)		AR82.20-P-1000CW
5	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from light sensor (B38/1) or rain/light sensor (B38/2).	Depending on vehicle equipment.
6	Remove inside rearview mirror bracket (4)
7	Remove roller sun blind (5) from counterbearing
8	Remove grab handles (6) on roof
9	Remove all luggage net holder covers (7) from roof	It is necessary to replace all luggage net holder covers (7).
10	Remove paneling (8) from left and right B-pillar
11	Remove left and right C-pillar paneling		AR68.30-P-4490CY
12	Remove left and right D-pillar paneling		AR68.30-P-4495CY
13	Remove all edge guards (9) in area of headliner (1)	Do not remove sealing frame from rear-end door, otherwise it is necessary to replace the sealing frame on the rear-end door.
14	Open cable duct (12) at right rear on shackles (13)
15	Expose wiring harness (15) to electrical connectors (14) and disconnect electrical connectors (14).
16	Unhook headliner (1) from front panoramic roof frame	On vehicles with code (413) Panoramic sliding roof
17	Detach headliner (1) on velcro strips (10) from roof paneling	Reach between headliner (1) and roof paneling and loosen Velcro strips (10) one after another by hand. Do not pull headliner (1). Otherwise the headliner (1) can be damaged.
18	Slide headliner (1) toward rear until hooks (11) disengage from mounts on roof paneling. Then remove headliner (1) from vehicle through liftgate cutout	Aid of helper required. Position headliner (1) below A-pillar panelings when moving forward. Position frame seal of liftgate on headliner (1).
19	Install in the reverse order
