	Remove/install
1	Completely lower crank window
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit	KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.
3	Unlock plug (arrow) and disconnect left rear door electrical connector (X35/3) or right rear door electrical connector (X35/4)
4	Remove caps (2) and unscrew bolts below	Installation : Use screw locking compound.
		Repair paint damage on bolt heads
		Model 204, 212	*BA72.12-P-1003-01O
		Model 218	*BA72.12-P-1005-01J
		Loctite 243	*BR00.45-Z-1066-01A
5	Remove rear door (1) from door hinges (3) with aid of helper and lay down on suitable base.	Remove rear door (1) carefully. Danger of damaging paint on rear door (1) and B-pillar.
6	Perform cavity preservation	When replacing front door (1).

		Model 212.0/1	AR97.20-P-1500EW
		Model 218	AR97.20-P-1500EL
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Check adjustment of rear door (1), correct if necessary.	Model 204, model 212.0 without code (Z04) Light armoring, model 212.2, model 218.3	AR72.12-P-0650CW
9	Check for proper function and synchronize power window
