1	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Remove center air vent (1)	On model 204.0/2 up to model year 2012 / YoM 11	AR83.10-P-4503CW
2	Remove center air vent (1)	On model 204.0/2 as of model year 2012 / YoM 11 Model 204.3	AR83.10-P-4503CWA
3	Remove bolts (2)	On model 204.0/2 up to model year 2012 / YoM 11

5	Unclip folded-in Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) out of instrument panel (3) upwards at an angle	In model 204.0/2 up to 28.2.2011 With code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation) or with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer, the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) can be placed in the service position for the removal/installation using Star Diagnosis.
5	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
6	Unscrew left and right screw/bolt, then remove Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) from instrument panel	On model 204.0/2 as of model year 2012 / YoM 11 Model 204.3
7	Disconnect electrical connectors at rear of Audio/COMAND display (A40/8)
8	Remove screws/bolts (4), unclip clamps (5) and remove Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) from housing (6)	In model 204.0/2 up to 28.2.2011 When replacing the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) in vehicles with code (523) MB Audio 20 radio or with code (510) Audio 20 incl. CD changer or with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio or with code (511) Audio 50 APS incl. DVD changer
9	Install in the reverse order
