1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000T
2	Remove crossmember (35)		*BA62.30-P-1001-01A
3	Detach heat shields (105d, 105e) and slide back or remove	Depending on accessibility
4	Preload automatic slack adjuster (91)		AR42.20-P-0520-01A
5	Detach front brake cable (85) at automatic cable slack adjuster (91)	Installation: to attach front brake cable (85): ↓
		Pre-tension automatic cable slack adjuster (91) again.	AR42.20-P-0520-01A
		Installation: after attaching front brake cable (85): ↓
		Slacken automatic cable slack adjuster (91)	AR42.20-P-0520-02A
6	Remove left cover below instrument panel		AR68.10-P-1500T
7	Remove side paneling (1) in left front footwell
8	Detach front cover (76) of pedal assembly (71)
9	Unlock and disconnect electrical connector on parking brake indicator switch (S12)
10	Unscrew bolts (72) and take off pedal assembly (71)		*BA42.20-P-1001-01A
	Friction brake of parking brake pedal assembly, function		GF42.20-P-1000A
11	Take off rear cover (77) from pedal assembly (71)
12	Detach front brake cable (85) from tensioning shackle (85a)	Installation: Pay attention to the correct position of the rubber ring (85b) in the tensioning shackle (85a).
13	Unclip front brake cable (85) from pedal assembly (71)		*129589116300
14	Detach unlocking cable (79) from tensioning shackle (79a)
15	Unclip unlocking cable (79) from pedal assembly (71) with tool for unlocking cable
	Tool for releasing parking brake control cable		WF58.50-P-4220-01A
16	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
17	Check pedal travel at parking brake pedal (75); adjust parking brake if necessary		AR42.20-P-0540T
