2	Operate parking brake pedal and check pedal travel of parking brake pedal	If the pedal travel is not within the tolerance range: ↓ Adjusting parking brake.

	Remove
3	Unscrew one wheel bolt on the left and right rear wheel	Light alloy wheels must be removed due to the risk of damage.
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary.		AP40.10-P-4050Z
4	Preloading automatic cable slack adjuster		AR42.20-P-0520-01A
	Adjust
5	Rotate adjusting wheel (c) by means of a screwdriver until the brake shoes (103) abut the parking brake drum and the rear wheel or brake disk (61) can no longer be turned by hand.	Adjustment direction for applying the brake shoes: Turn the left adjusting wheel (c) in the direction of travel and the right adjusting wheel (c) opposite to the direction of travel
6	Turn back adjusting wheel (c) by 10 teeth	Back off the left and right adjusting wheel (c) by the same number of teeth. It must be possible to rotate the rear wheel or brake disk (61) completely freely by hand.
7	Release automatic slack adjuster		AR42.20-P-0520-02A
	Check
8	Operate parking brake pedal several times and check pedal travel of the parking brake pedal, then release the parking brake	Actuating force on parking brake pedal	*BE42.20-P-1001-01C

9	Check for unobstructed movement of the rear wheels or brake disks (61)
	Install
10	Fit wheel bolts or light alloy wheels
