Convenience opening of sliding/pop-up roof function - GF77.20-P-2000T

Function prerequisites 

• No overvoltage or undervoltage
• Sliding/pop-up roof synchronized
• All doors closed (status: unlocked)
• Terminal 15 OFF
• Press "Unlock" button of remote control key (A8/1) for longer than 1 s and hold down and aim remote control key (A8/1) to left front IR receiver (A26/1) or right front IR receiver (A26/2).

The function prerequisite "Convenience opening" via the right front IR receiver (A26/2) is only valid in and .

Function 

The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the request for convenience opening via interior compartment CAN bus and then actuates the SR motor (M12m1). The SR motor (M12m1) is actuated in the "Open sliding roof" rotation direction as long as the "Unlock" button of the remote control key (A8/1) is pressed.

Function interruption 

• The request is not longer received
• The function prerequisites listed are no longer fulfilled.

The convenience opening function also opens the windows.
