TELE AID telediagnosis 

Either a roadside assistance call (spanner symbol) or an MB information call (letter "i" symbol) can be triggered using the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) by pressing the switch in the relevant direction. Pressing the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) for longer than 0.5 sec. activates the system. Activation of the system is indicated by the relevant LED flashing in the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6).

Irrespective of the request, the MB-Info and breakdown assistance button group (S93/6) is read in via a discrete line by the emergency call system control unit (N123/4). The emergency call system control unit (N123/4) automatically transmits an SMS. A voice connection to the Service Center is set up at the same time.
