| 1 | Remove spreading clips (2) and remove mounting strips (3) from bumper paneling (1) | ||

| 3 | Press lug (5) and remove left impact damper (6) | ||
| 4 | Press lug (7) and remove right impact damper (8) | ||
| 5 | Lift lugs (5, 7) and remove center impact damper (9) together with license plate mounting plates (22) | ||
| 6 | Unclip air inlet grate (10) on catch hooks (23) from bumper paneling (1) and remove | Figure | |
| 7 | Remove spreading clips (13) from left and right frame (14) | ||
| 8 | Unclip left and right frame (14) at catch hooks (15) from bumper paneling (1) and remove | Figure | |
| 9 | Unscrew bolts (11) and remove left fog lamp (E5/1) from left frame (14) | ||
| 10 | Unscrew bolts (12) and remove right fog lamp (E5/2) from right frame (14) | ||
| 11 | Unclip retaining clips (16) from left and right fog lamp cover (17) | ||
| 12 | Unclip left and right fog lamp cover (17) at catch hooks (18) and remove from bumper paneling (1) | Figure | |
