MODIFICATION NOTES

2.5.05 Self-locking bolt, front rear axle carrier rubber mount to frame floor Model 171 *BA35.10-P-1001-01A
Self-locking bolt, rear axle carrier rear rubber mount to frame floor Model 171 *BA35.10-P-1002-01A
17.10.05 Repair information on the threaded connection of the rear axle carrier rubber mount to the frame floor assembly added
CAUTION: NOTES The thread in the frame floor assembly must be recut and blown out, as adhesive residue in the thread will prevent the bolt reaching the required preload force, despite having reached the specified torque and specified angle of rotation.
If this is not observed then the faulty bolt preload force will cause transverse forces to be applied to the bolt, which may cause the bolt to fracture.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. -
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. -
NOTESInstallation
