Function prerequisites:
- Circuit 15R ON
Function
Wiper operation is suppressed when:
- combination switch (S4) is in position "I" (interval) and
- driver or passenger-side door is open
- speed is less than 5 km/h.
Opening the driver or passenger-side door does not interrupt wiper operation that is currently in progress. The wipers move to the park position.
The wipers resume operation after suppression if:
- the clutch is actuated (with transmission 716) or
- the selector lever is moved from "P" or "N" to a drive mode (with transmission 722) or
- the speed is faster than 8 km/h or
- the combination switch (S4) is moved from position "I" to position "II" or position "III".
