Slowing down wiper motor, function - GF82.30-P-4007SK
MODEL 171.4
The wiper motor (M6/1) is braked if the wipers are to be stopped in the park position from active operation.
Function
To brake the wiper motor (M6/1) the motor winding is short-circuited via a field-effect transistor by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
The wiper motor (M6/1) has a cam switch for recording the park position. When the motor runs through the park position, the cam switch is actuated.
The cam switch signal is continuously interrogated by the driverside SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
