	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1.1	Remove crank window on left and right front door (1)	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.	AR72.10-P-1900SXS
1.2	Remove window from left or right front door (1)	On vehicles without hydraulic power windows.
	Risk of injury  caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush  or, in extreme cases, even sever extremities	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
2.1	Release pressure in pressure reservoir for hydraulic power window in front door	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.	AR72.10-P-1800-06SXS
3.1	Remove screw (2) and remove clamp (3)	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.
4.1	Mark installation position of hydraulic lines (4) on valve block (5).	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.
5.1	Detach hydraulic lines (4) from valve block (5) and plug openings in hydraulic lines (4) and valve block (5)	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows. Use only suitable stop plugs or lint-free rags for plugging. Lint or contamination can contaminate the hydraulic system and thereby cause damage.

6	Unclip protective hose (6) from front door (1).		Figure
7	Guide electrical wiring harnesses out of front door (1)
8.1	Guide hydraulic lines (4) out of front door (1)	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.
9	Remove caps (7) and remove bolts below		*BA72.10-P-1014-01R
10	Press door holder (8) off of ball head bolt (9) on A-pillar		Figure
11	Remove front door (1) from door hinge halves on A-pillar	Carefully remove front door (1) to prevent damage to front door (1) and front fender. See GOTIS for multifunctional lift/holding device http://gotis.aftersales.mercedes-benz.com
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Check adjustment of front door (1), correct if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0550SXS
14.1	Check fill level of power window hydraulic pump; correct if necessary	On vehicles with hydraulic power windows.
