Remove/install door foil on front door - AR72.10-P-1010SXS

MODEL 221.1 with CODE (Z07) Top protection with hydraulic power windows

	Removing
1	Remove door lining from left or right front door		AR72.10-P-1000SXS
	Risk of injury  caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases, even sever  extremities	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating range of the mechanism when moving components.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
2	Release pressure in pressure reservoir for hydraulic power window in front door		AR72.10-P-1800-06SXS
3	Remove door hydraulic power window relay socket (K4/4) with bracket (3)
4	Remove bracket (2) with left front door woofer (H4/1h2) or right front door woofer (H4/2h2)
5	Expose electrical wiring harness (4) and disconnect connector from left front door hydraulic power window or right front door hydraulic power window
6	Remove splitter protection strips (5) on front door	Cut through butyl cord on rear of splitter protection strips (5) with suitable blade.
7	Mark installation position of hydraulic lines (6) on valve block (7)
8	Remove hydraulic lines (6) from valve block (7). Then plug openings in hydraulic lines (6) and valve block (7)	Use only suitable stop plugs or lint-free rags for plugging. Lint or contamination can contaminate the hydraulic system and thereby cause damage.
9	Remove mounting anchor (8)
10	Cut through butyl cord on rear of door foil (1) with suitable blade	Cut through butyl cord carefully and carefully separate door foil (1). Otherwise, paint or the seal (9) behind the valve block (7) can be damaged.
	Install
11	Check door foil (1) for damage, replace if necessary.	When replacing the door foil (1) remove remains of butyl cord from inner door panel, door lock armor plate and seal (9) and clean bonding surface.

12	Inspect butyl cords for damages, replace if necessary	If sections of the butyl cord are damaged, replace only the damaged section. Route new butyl cord parallel to the damaged butyl cord on the door foil (1). Previously clean bonding surface.
		Sealing cord	*BR00.45-Z-1086-01A
		Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
13	Align door foil (1) on front door and roll on	Ensure that door foil (1) is correctly positioned on front door.

14	Install splitter protection strips (5)	Coat corresponding screws with thread sealant and tighten in a number of cycles. The butyl cord then settles on the rear.

15	Connect left front door hydraulic power window connector or right front door hydraulic power window connector and route electrical wiring harness (4)
16	Attach hydraulic lines (6) to valve block (7)		*BA72.10-P-1002-01R
17	Attach bracket (2) with left front door woofer (H4/1h2) or right front door woofer (H4/2h2)	Tighten appropriate screws in a number of cycles. The butyl cord will still settle.
18	Install door hydraulic power window relay socket (K4/4) with bracket (3)	Tighten appropriate screws in a number of cycles. The butyl cord will still settle.
19	Install mounting anchor (8)
20	Install door lining in front door		AR72.10-P-1000SXS
21	Check fill level of power window hydraulic pump; correct if necessary
	Power window system - check oil level		AP67.30-P-6710SX
