	Checking
		If a customer has rejected the replacement of a damaged seat belt or seat belt buckle (2) an appropriate remark should be made on the repair order.
1	Pull belt (1) all the way out and check for any signs of damage	If any fibers are cut through or if there are any chafing marks or any other signs of damage, then: ↓ Replace seat belt on front seat:

2	Check belt (1) for twisting (arrow) and remove twists (arrow)	If necessary, check whether the seat belt is twisted behind the trim (this requires a separate repair order): ↓ Remove/install seat belt on front seat:

4	Check seat belt buckle (2) for damage and make sure that latch plate (3) engages correctly	If problem exists, subject to separate repair order: ↓ Replace seat belt buckle for front seat:
