5	Remove the leak oil line (2) from the bracket of the thermostat housing (1)
6	Disconnect electrical connector for two-disk thermostat heating element (R48)	For vehicles with a heated coolant thermostat
7	Disconnect coolant hose (3) at thermostat housing (1)	See "Disconnect Henn coupling". Installation: Check condition of coolant hose (3), seal and grab handle; replace if necessary.	AR09.41-P-1311-01AL
8	Remove securing clip (6) and take connector (7) for the fuel line (8) out of the bracket	On vehicles with coolant-cooled turbocharger (14b)
9.1	Remove bolts (4)	On vehicles with coolant-cooled turbocharger (14b)

9.2	Remove bolts (4, 9)	For vehicles with turbocharger (14b) with coolant cooling: the fuel line (8) must be pushed slightly to the side to pass the bolt (9) by at the fuel line (8). This must not be bent to avoid causing damage to the fuel line (8).
10	Remove thermostat housing (1) with coolant thermostat	Installation: Replace sealing ring.
11	Install in the reverse order
