2 Adjust refractometer (5) to determine the AdBlue® concentration BLUETEC measurement AR14.40-P-2041-01GZB
3 Remove a small amount of AdBlue® from the AdBlue® tank using the siphon
NOTES Notes on use, material properties and handling of AdBlue®   AH14.40-N-0001-01AB
4 Place 1 to 2 drops of AdBlue® on the prism (1) of the refractometer (5) NOTES Only the prism (1) and hinged lid (2) may come into contact with AdBlue® otherwise AdBlue® can find its way into the interior of the refractometer (5) and make it unusable. The refractometer (5) is very sensitive to impacts and scratching.
IMPORTANT Closing the hinged lid (2) causes the AdBlue® to be distributed evenly.

5 Look through the eyepiece (4) against a light background. IMPORTANT Bring the scales into focus by turning the eyepiece (4).
INSPECT Checking
6 Read off the measurement at the light-dark boundary on the AdBlue® scale (B) AdBlue® urea content
IMPORTANT If the AdBlue® concentration is too low, empty the AdBlue® tank and replace the AdBlue®: ↓
Empty, fill AdBlue tank
