| 1 | Remove front and rear throttle valve actuator (M16/3, M16/4) | Check during the work procedure for absolute cleanliness. Engine damage will occur otherwise. |

| 3 | Detach electrical wiring harness (8) from intermediate plate (4) and set aside | Installation: Ensure that routing of lines is correct. | |
| 4 | Open lock tab (6) | Installation:
The screw/bolts (5) must be secured with lock tabs (6). Engine damage will occur otherwise. Installation: Lock tabs (6) must be replace after every opening. |

| 5 | Installation:
Screw in screw/bolts (5) by hand very carefully and lay on finger-tight. No compressed air tools may be used to remove and screw in the screw/bolts (5). The intake manifold will be damaged otherwise. Installation: Replace screws/bolts (5). |

| 9 | Check electrical wiring harness (8) for external damage and replace if necessary | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
