	Removing
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000GZ
2	Remove engine trim panel		AR01.10-P-2405GZB
3	Remove engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623GZB
4	Loosen poly-V-belt (1) and remove	Turn tensioning device (2) in the direction "LOOSEN" and lock in place with a drift (3).
	Checking
5	Inspect belt pulley sections and tensioning device (2) for damage and dirt	Installation:  In the event of damage to the belt pulley or the tensioning device (2), these must be replaced.
6	Check poly-V-belt (1)	Installation:  In the event of wear and tear or damage, the poly-V-belt (1) must be replaced.	AP13.22-P-1352GZD
	Check poly-V-belt in visible area for wear		AP13.22-P-1352GZD
	Installing
7	Install poly-V-belt (1) and tighten it.	Turn tensioning device (2) in the direction "LOOSEN" and remove drift (3). The catch is removed and the tensioning device (2) turns itself back into its design position. Do not use belt wax or any similar products. When fitting the poly-V-belt (1), the routing diagram must be observed, see: ↓

8	Install engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler		AR09.41-P-8623GZB
9	Reinstall engine cover		AR01.10-P-2405GZB
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Carry out engine test run
	11	Close engine hood	AR88.40-P-1000GZ
