2	Remove heat shield (105d) and heat shield (105e)	Installation:  Replace sheet metal nuts.
3	Detach cross strut (40) from frame floor		*BA61.10-P-1005-01C
4	Mark propeller shaft (1)	Apply color identifications of propeller shaft position relative to transmission (2), to the rear axle center assembly (50) and to propeller shaft intermediate bearing (4), in order to reproduce the plant installation position when installing, otherwise drive line vibrations may occur.
5	Detach propeller shaft (1) from transmission (2)	Secure propeller shaft (1) against falling. The flexible coupling (3a) remains on the propeller shaft (1).	AR41.10-P-0050-02T
		Installation:  Mount propeller shaft (1) on transmission (2).	AR41.10-P-0050-07I
6	Detach propeller shaft (1) from rear axle center assembly (50)	The flexible coupling (3b) remains on the propeller shaft (1).
		Installation:  Mount propeller shaft (1) on rear axle center assembly (50).	AR41.10-P-0050-04I
7	Loosen fitting sleeves of flexible couplings (3a, 3b)		AR41.10-P-0050-09DA
8	Remove bolts of propeller shaft intermediate bearing (4) from frame floor	Installation:  The bolts of the propeller shaft intermediate bearing (4) may only be tightened securely when the propeller shaft (1) is mounted securely on the transmission (2) and rear axle center assembly (50).

9	Detach propeller shaft (1) from centering journal on rear axle center assembly (50) and transmission (2) and take out downwards	Installation:  Pack insides of both centering sleeves with all-purpose grease.

10	Separate propeller shaft (1) at slide connection	If necessary.
		Installation:  Assemble propeller shaft (1). Coat splined profile with Molykote grease.	AR41.10-P-0050-05DA

	Checking
11	Check propeller shaft intermediate bearing (4) for wear and damage	If necessary, remove/install propeller shaft center support bearing (4) and replace grooved ball bearing.	AR41.10-P-0100T
12	Check centering sleeves for wear	If necessary, replace centering sleeve.	AR41.10-P-0200T
13	Check flexible couplings (3a, 3b) of propeller shaft (1) for wear	If damage is found during the visual inspection, the flexible couplings (3a, 3b) should be replaced subject to separate repair order in order to prevent consequential damage to the drive train.

14	Install in the reverse order
