Remove/install propeller shaft intermediate bearing and replace grooved ball bearing - AR41.10-P-0100T

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1 Raise vehicle with lifting platform   AR00.60-P-1000T
2 Remove propeller shaft NOTES Mark color identifications of the propeller shaft position relative to the transmission, to the rear axle center assembly and to the propeller shaft intermediate bearing in order to reproduce the plant installation position when installing otherwise drive train vibrations can occur. AR41.10-P-0050T 
3 Separate front half of propeller shaft (1) and rear half of propeller shaft (2) at propeller shaft intermediate bearing IMPORTANTInstallation:  See:

Connect sections of propeller shaft
IMPORTANT Grease splined profile before assembling.

REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Multipurpose grease (NLGI Class 2) Sheet 267.0 BB00.40-P-0267-00A
4 Pull rubber boot (4) off front half of propeller shaft (1) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Replace damaged rubber boot (4) and pay attention to the correct seat of the rubber boot (4) in order to prevent consequential damage to the joint due to the ingress of foreign matter.  
5 Detach rubber mount (7b) together with the grooved ball bearing (8) of the front half of the propeller shaft (1)   AR41.10-P-0100-07I 
SPECIAL TOOL Two-legged puller *000589883300
SPECIAL TOOL Puller legs *129589003400
Press rubber mount (7b) together with the grooved ball bearing (8) onto the linkage arm   AR41.10-P-0100-05DA 
Grooved ball bearing (8), Ø 32 mm  
SPECIAL TOOL Drift *126589031500
Grooved ball bearing (8), Ø 27 mm  
SPECIAL TOOL Drift *201589071500
6 Press deep-groove ball bearing (8) out of rubber mount (7b) of propeller shaft   AR41.10-P-0100-02DA 
Grooved ball bearing (8), inside Ø 30 mm  
SPECIAL TOOL Extraction and insertion tool *116589094300
Grooved ball bearing (8), inside Ø 25 mm  
SPECIAL TOOL Extraction and insertion tool *201589094300
INSPECT Check     
7 Check rubber mount (7b) NOTES Check rubber mount for wear and damage, the rubber mount must be replaced in the event of faults being found in order to prevent vibrations in the drive train.  
8 Install in the reverse order
