Inspect front axle joint for play, inspect rubber boots - AP33.20-P-3353TX

DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
DANGER Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or  , in extreme cases even sever  extremities. Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts. AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
1 Hoist vehicle with lifting platform until wheels are free    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR Lift/jack up vehicle   AR00.60-P-1000TX
INSPECT Checking     
2 Check rubber boot (7m) on supporting joint (7) for leaks and condition. IMPORTANT If the rubber boot is leaky, cracked or damaged rubber boot (7m), replace supporting joint (7): ↓  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Replace supporting joint. AR33.20-P-0440TX 
3 Check rubber boot (18m) on joint (18k) of torque strut (18) for leaks and condition. IMPORTANT If rubber boot (18m) is leaky, cracked, or damaged, install new torque strut (18): ↓  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install torque strut on the front axle. AR33.15-P-0160TX 
4 Check rubber boot (10m) at joint (10k) of link rod (10) of stabilizer bar (11) for leaks and condition. IMPORTANT If rubber boot (10m) is leaky, cracked or damaged, install new joint (10k).  
5 Check rubber boot (8m) at joint (8k) of upper transverse control arm (8) for leaks and condition. IMPORTANT If the rubber boot (8m) is leaky, cracked or damaged, replace ball joint (8k) of upper transverse control arm (8): ↓  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install upper transverse control arm AR33.20-P-0500TX 
6 Check supporting joint (7) IMPORTANT Check supporting joint (7) for play by pulling and pushing firmly. In the event of play, replace supporting joint (7): ↓  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Replace supporting joint. AR33.20-P-0440TX 
7 Check joint (18k) of torque strut (18). IMPORTANT Check joint (18k) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the torque strut (18). If play is found, install new torque strut (18): ↓  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install torque strut on the front axle. AR33.15-P-0160TX 
8 Check joint (10k) of link rod (10) of stabilizer bar (11). IMPORTANT Check joint (10k) of link rod (10) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the stabilizer bar (11). In the event of play, replace ball joint (10k)  
9 Check rubber bushing (10l) of link rod (10) of stabilizer bar (11). IMPORTANT Check rubber bushing (10l) of link rod (10) for play by pulling and pushing firmly on the stabilizer bar (11). In the event of play, replace link rod (10) of stabilizer bar (11)  
10 Check joint (8k) of upper transverse control arm (8).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Checking follower joint of steering knuckle mount (installed) IMPORTANT In the event of play, replace joint (8k) of upper transverse control arm (8): ↓ AR33.20-P-0426TX 
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR   Remove/install upper transverse control arm AR33.20-P-0500TX
