	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Open engine hood
2	Reduce pressure in cooling system	Only in vehicles with code 875 Heated windshield washer system To do this, turn coolant expansion reservoir cap to notch "1" and lock again.
3	Remove combination filter		AR83.00-P-1000TX
4	Remove expansion rivet (2)
5	Unclip cover (3) from wheel well with assembly wedge		Figure
6	Pull filler neck (4) out of washer fluid reservoir (1)	Replace seal of filler neck (4) on washer fluid reservoir (1).
7	Pull vent hose (5) off of filler neck (4) and remove filler neck (4)
8	Pinch off both coolant hoses (6) using clamps (7)	Only in vehicles with CODE 875 Heated windshield washer system

9	Release clamps (8) and detach both coolant hoses (6) from the washer fluid heater (9)	Only in vehicles with CODE 875 Heated windshield washer system Check coolant hoses (6) and hose clamps (8) for signs of damage, replace if necessary.
10	Detach right front road wheel
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050TX
11	Remove the rear fender liner in the right front fender		AR88.10-P-1300TX
12	Open hose bracket (10) with suitable screwdriver at washer fluid reservoir (1)
13	Disconnect electrical connector (11)
14	Separate electrical connector (16)	Only in vehicles with code 600 Headlamp cleaning system
15	Disconnect electrical connector (12) from washer fluid reservoir (1)	Release the retaining tab on the electrical connector (12) and detach the electrical connector (12) downward from the washer fluid reservoir (1).
16	Detach washer fluid hose from the HCS [SRA] pump (M5/2)	Only in vehicles with code 600 Headlamp cleaning system To do so press retaining clip (arrow A). Collect washer fluid which flows out. Replace sealing ring at hose connection.
17	Detach washer fluid hose from windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1)	Collect washer fluid which flows out.
18	Detach connector hose (13) from washer fluid reservoir (1)	Press retaining clip (arrow B). Collect washer fluid which flows out. Replace sealing ring at hose connection.
19	Disconnect electrical connector at the switch of the windshield washer system fluid level control (S42)
20	Unscrew nut (14)	Replace self-locking nut (14).
21	Remove washer fluid reservoir (1) out of the fender	Ensure that the mounts (15) are seated correctly.
22	Install in the reverse order
23	Fill washer fluid reservoir (1)
	Windshield washer system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level		AP82.35-P-8210TX
24	Inspecting cooling system for leaks	Only in vehicles with code 875 Heated windshield washer system
