3 Remove valve element from valve (43g)
4 Draining TIREFIT sealant out of tires

After using TIREFIT tire sealant AR40.10-P-1080CW
5 Position the press-off blade of the tire mounting device on the tire bead flank NOTES Do not position press-off blade on the tire flank otherwise the carcass will be damaged. On vehicles with code (470) Tire pressure monitoring system, do not position the bead breaker shovel on the inside or outside of the tire in the area of the valve (43g), otherwise the tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4) will be damaged.
IMPORTANT Position the blade on the bead flank opposite the valve (43g).

6 Press inner and outer bead flank over safety bead seats and into drop center of disk wheel
7 Fasten disk wheel on tire mounting device
8 Apply mounting paste to disk wheel flange and tire beads
Wide-tire mounting paste *BR00.45-Z-1066-06A
9 Position disk wheel on the tire mounting device IMPORTANT Position the disk wheel so that the valve (43g) is 10 cm behind the assembly head, viewed in the direction of rotation (arrow) of the disk wheel.
10 Align mounting head at small distances (X, Y) to disk wheel
11 Use assembly lever to lever the tire beads over the mounting lug of the mounting head and detach the tire from the disk wheel NOTES On vehicles with code (470) Tire pressure monitoring system, no forces should act on the tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4), otherwise it will be damaged.
INSPECT Checking
12 Check condition of disk wheel   AR40.10-P-1010-01A
13.1 Check tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4) and valve body (3) in the installed condition for damage Vehicles with code (470) Tire pressure monitoring system
NOTES Do not remove tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4). Do not retighten union nut (2), otherwise the tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4) will be damaged.
IMPORTANT Replace all components, if the union nut (2) or tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4) are visibly loose or damage can be detected: ↓

Replace tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4). AR40.15-P-0080CW
13.2 Install new valve (43g). Vehicles without tire pressure monitoring system
CLEAN Clean
14 Clean tire pressure sensor (A69/1 up to A69/4) Vehicles with code (470) Tire pressure monitoring system
NOTES Wipe off dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth only. Do not use any compressed air, solvents or cleaners otherwise the tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4) will be damaged.

  Attaching
15 Apply mounting paste to disk wheel flanges and tire beads of new tire
Wide-tire mounting paste *BR00.45-Z-1066-06A
16 Position disk wheel on the tire mounting device IMPORTANT Position the disk wheel so that the valve (43g) is approximately 180° opposite the mounting head.
17 Place new tire at an angle on disk wheel and align mounting head at small distances (X, Y) to disk wheel IMPORTANT Observe running direction on unidirectional tires. Observe the markings indicating the inside and outside of the tire. On vehicles with mixed tires observe the correct assignment of the tire to disk wheel.
18 Pull tire over shoulder onto disk wheel with tire mounting device NOTES Vehicles with code (470) Tire pressure monitoring system: No forces should act on the tire pressure sensor (A69/1 to A69/4), otherwise it will be damaged.
IMPORTANT Load the tire beads as little as possible.

19 Align the match points of the tire and disk wheel relative to one another
20 Remove disc wheel with tire from tire mounting device
21 Remove valve element from valve (43g)
22 Inflate tires IMPORTANT Inflation pressure max. 3 bar.
IMPORTANT The tire beads must slide evenly over the safety bead seats of the disk wheel; if this is not the case, apply mounting paste to the tire beads again.

Wide-tire mounting paste *BR00.45-Z-1066-06A
23 Turn valve element into valve (43g)
24 Adjust tire inflation pressure to correct pressure. IMPORTANT See tire pressure label in the vehicle's fuel filler flap.
