	Remove/Install
	Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A

2	Remove air filter housing	Model 219.375	AR09.10-P-1150TY
2	Remove air filter housing	Model 219.376	AR09.10-P-1150TZ
3	Remove paneling (2)	Dismount clamp (5) and tie straps (6 X).
4	Loosen the engine wiring harness from the fuel distributor rail (1)
5	Unscrew plug from (9) service valve (10)
6	Reduce fuel pressure with the pressure hose via the service valve (10)	Collect fuel in a suitable container.	AR07.03-P-1460-01VA

7	Disconnect the fuel line (3) from the fuel distributor rail (1)	Allow escaping fuel to drain into a suitable container.

8	Remove the electrical connectors at the fuel injection valves (Y62)
9	Remove screws (8) from intake manifold (22)		*BA07.52-P-1002-01A
10	Lift fuel distributor rail (1) and fuel injection valves (Y62) from intake manifold (22)	Check sealing ring (12, 13) for damage and replace if required. Before inserting the fuel injection valves (Y62), coat the sealing ring (12, 13) with lubricant.

11	Check fuel injection valves (Y62) with STAR DIAGNOSIS	If necessary: ↓
		Replace fuel injection valves (Y62)	AR07.03-P-6520TY

12	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. 13	Carry out engine test run and check fuel system for leaks	In the event of oil loss determine and eliminate cause, otherwise malfunctions, transmission damage, and serious environmental pollution may occur.
