	Removing/installing
	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000TX
2	Remove fuel distributor rail (1) together with fuel injectors (Y62)		AR07.03-P-1451TY
3	Remove clamp (7) from fuel injection valves (Y62) and fuel distributor rail (1)	Required on all fuel injection valves (Y62).
4	Remove fuel injection valves (Y62) from fuel distributor rail (1)	Inspect sealing rings (13) for damage and replace if required, otherwise leaks may occur. Observe correct seating of the fuel injection valves (Y62) in the fuel distributor rail (1). The clamp (7) must latch into the square lug (arrow) on the fuel injection valve. Wet sealing ring (13) slightly with liquid lubricant before assembly.

5	Install in reverse order
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. 6	Carry out engine test run and check fuel system for leaks	In the event of oil loss determine and eliminate cause, otherwise malfunctions, transmission damage, and serious environmental pollution may occur.
