Locking with transmitter key, function - GF80.20-P-3005PP
MODEL 203.0/ 2/ 7
Shown on model 203.0 Left-hand drive vehicle
When the "Lock" transmit button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is actuated, it transmits a signal to window antenna, amplifier module 2 (A2/72) via radio. This signal is relayed via the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) to the EIS control unit (N73).
An infrared signal is transmitted parallel to the radio signal to the left front IR receiver unit (A26/1) or the right front IR receiver unit (A26/2) (precise access required) This signal is read in by the left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) and is transmitted via the CAN B (CAN B) to the EIS control unit (N73).
The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control unit (N73) transmits the "Locking" command via the CAN B (CAN B) to the left front door control unit (N69/1), right front door control unit (N69/2), left rear door control unit (N69/3), right rear door control unit (N69/4) and rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2). These then actuate the:
- right front door CL motor (M14/5),
- left front door CL motor (M14/6),
- left rear door CL motor (M14/8),
- right rear door CL motor (M14/9) and
- fuel filler flap CL motor (M14/10)
to lock the vehicle.
The opening request of the exterior actuation trunk lid switch (S88/8) and trunk lid emergency release switch (only
) is disabled
When the driver door is opened while the vehicle was locked previously, the driver door is not locked
An open passenger door is locked
Visual feedback
After locking and when all doors and the trunk lid (only model 203.0), rear-end door (only model 203.2) or tailgate (only model 203.7) are closed, the EIS control unit (N73) transmits the corresponding request to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via CAN B (CAN B).
The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates, as "turn signal master", the CL turn signaling
The
- left turn signal lamp (E1e5) and
- right turn signal lamp (E2e5)
are actuated by the front SAM control module with fuse and relay module; the
- left turn signal lamp (E3e1) and
- right turn signal lamp (E4e1)
by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2); the
- left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5)
by the left front door control unit (N69/1) and the
- right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6)
by the right front door control unit (N69/2)
are actuated three times each
