	Removal:
1	Remove fixed caliper		AR42.10-P-0105GG
2	Remove brake disc		AR42.10-P-0220GG
3	Unscrew steering damper
4.1	Unscrew differential lock shift cylinder	Only remove when joint housing is on the left and only valid for models 460, 461 with code A70 and for model 463.	AR33.40-P-0403GG
5	Unscrew castle nut from tie rod and press off tie rod end (1)	Check tie rod end for rust attack by lifting the boot, check ball heads for play and replace if necessary.

6	Detach seal retainer (2)	Before removal, measure the length of the stop bolt for the wheel angle and adjust this bolt to the corresponding value when installing again.
7	Detach kingbolt at the top (3)	Tie shim to the kingbolt.
8	Detach steering knuckle arm at the bottom (4)	Tie shim to the steering knuckle arm.
9	Remove joint housing (5) with drive shaft	Tie tapered roller bearing to the associated kingbolt or steering knuckle arm

	Checking
12	Clean all parts, check and replace if necessary
	Installation
13	Install bearing bushing (8)
14	Smear new shaft seal (7) with lubricant and drive in flush		*BF33.20-P-1001-02A

15	Install joint housing (5) with drive shaft	Install the respective tapered roller bearings and sealing rings for kingpin or. knuckle arm in the axle tube.
		Lubricate tapered roller bearing with multipurpose grease.	*BF33.20-P-1001-02A
16	Adjust steering knuckle bearing	The adjustment must only be carried out if either the axle housing, joint housing or kingbolt have been replaced or the shims have been mixed up or lost.	AR33.25-P-0401A
17	Install kingbolt at the top (3)	Use associated shim.

18	Install steering knuckle arm at the bottom (4)	Use associated shim.

19	Attach seal retainer (2) to joint housing (5)	Replace paper gasket and sealing ring.

24	Attach tie rod (1) and secure castle nut with cotter pin	Before installing, grease the shank of the ballpin and bore in the steering knuckle arm.

27	Check wheel angle and adjust if necessary	Adjust the length of stop bolt for the wheel angle again to the corresponding value.
