Basic Programming: Notes

NOTE: If you are using quiescent current retention unit, it is not necessary to perform basic programming.
  1. Set time on instrument cluster. See SETTING TIME  .
  2. Release radio from lockout. See CODING RADIO  .
  3. Normalize power windows by completely closing each window with power window switch. Hold switch in closed position for one second.
  4. Normalize memory power seats. See NORMALIZING MEMORY POWER SEATS  .
  5. Normalizing Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and activating steering angle sensor. See NORMALIZING ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM (ESP) & ACTIVATING STEERING ANGLE SENSOR  .
