	Removing
1	Remove paneling from tilting/sliding roof		AR77.20-P-0500G
2	Remove guide plate (1)	Pull out of guide tube (3) toward front of vehicle.
3	Actuate SR switch (N70s1) to open	Allow control cable (5) to run out of gear. If the operating cable (5) cannot be moved with the electric drive, use emergency crank, see: ↓ Remove trim from rear pillar Only on left side. MODEL 463.220 /221 /224 /225 /227 /228 /230 /231 /232 /233 /240 /241 /320 /321 /324 /325 /327 /328 /330 /331
		Model 463.222 /237 /243 /244 /245 /246 /247 /249 /270 /271 /322 /323 /332 /333 /336 /340 /341 /346 Model 463.236 / 248 Operating emergency crank: Completely pull out emergency crank and then press in approx. 3 to 4 mm.	AR68.30-P-4505GK
4	Pull control cable (5) out toward front	If the operating cable (5) cannot be pulled out, see: ↓ Disassemble gear of electric drive. If the operating cable (5) cannot be pulled out after disassembling electric drive, see: ↓ Remove guide tube for tilting/sliding roof cable

	Install
5	Install guide tube (3) of operating cable (5)	Only if guide tube (3) was removed. Model 463.220/ 221/ 224/ 225/ 227/ 228/230/ 231/ 232/ 233/ 240/ 241/ 320/ 321/ 324/325/ 327/ 328/ 330/ 331 with code (D27) Electric tilting/sliding roof	AR77.20-P-1410A
		Model 463.222/ 236/ 237/ 243/ 244/ 245/246/247/ 248/ 249/ 270/ 271/ 322/ 323/ 332/ 333/336/ 340/ 341/ 346 with code (D27) Electric tilting/sliding roof	AR77.20-P-1410GR
6	Assembly gear for electric drive	Only if electric drive has been disassembled when removing gear.
7	Coat end of new operating cable (5) with lubricant.		*BR00.45-Z-1004-06A
8	Completely insert operating cable (5) into guide tube (3)	The guide piece (4) on the operating cable (5) should slide into the guide tube opening (3).
	Checking
9	Fasten spring balance at end of operating cable (5) (arrows)
10	Pull operating cable (5) out with spring balance	Do not exceed a maximum force of 80 N.
	Install
11	Completely insert operating cable (5) into guide tube (3)
12	Set SR switch to "Lower roof"	Allow operating cable (5) to run into gear until holes in guide plate (1) and sliding carrier (2) coincide with one another.
13	Screw guide plate (1) to sliding carrier (2).
14	Close tilting/sliding roof
	Adjust
15	Perform basic adjustment for operating cable (5) on tilting/sliding roof motor (M12/1m1) and whether tilting/sliding roof closes properly		AR77.20-P-1100-05A
	Centering bolts for sliding roof		WF58.50-P-7720-01A
		If the tilting/sliding roof does not close exactly after this adjustment, see: ↓
		Carry out fine adjustment of tilting/sliding roof	AR77.20-P-1100-02A
16	Carry out function check
	Install
17	Install paneling on rear pillar	Only if paneling was removed. MODEL 463.220 /221 /224 /225 /227 /228/230 /231 /232 /233 /240 /241 /320 /321 /324/325 /327 /328 /330 /331
