Basic adjustment of tilting/sliding roof motor - AR77.20-P-1100-05A

Centering bolts for sliding roof

Remove left edge guard (1) from rear pillar.
Disconnect electrical connector from left rear speaker (H4/7h2).
On rear of left rear pillar panel (2).
Remove left rear pillar paneling (2).
Position tilting/sliding roof in pop-up position.

Completely pull hand wheel (arrow) out of titling/sliding roof motor and press in again approx. 3 to 4 mm.
Do not actuate tilting/sliding roof electrically when the hand wheel (arrow) is pulled out.
Turn hand wheel (arrow) until centering bolt can be inserted completely into the centering hole on the titling/sliding roof motor. The notch on the hand wheel (arrow) should point toward the center hole (arrow).
Do not actuate tilting/sliding roof electrically when centering bolt is inserted, otherwise the centering bolt can pinch.

Completely press in hand wheel (arrow)
Remove centering bolt.
Connect electrical connector on left rear speaker (H4/7h2).
Install left rear pillar paneling (2).
Install left edge guard (1) on rear pillar.
