Carry out fine adjustment of tilting/sliding roof - AR77.20-P-1100-02A

  1. Remove left edge guard (1) from rear pillar.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector from left rear speaker (H4/7h2).

    IMPORTANT On rear of left rear pillar panel (2).

  3. Remove left rear pillar paneling (2).

  4. Completely pull handwheel (arrow) out of titling/sliding roof motor and press in again approx. 3 to 4 mm.
  5. IMPORTANT The titling/sliding roof should not be actuated electrically when the handwheel is pulled out.
  6. Turn hand wheel (arrow) to left or right.

    IMPORTANT Turning the hand wheel (arrow) to the right changes the position of the tilting/sliding roof approx. 45 mm toward the front, turning the hand wheel (arrow) to the left changes the position of the tilting/sliding roof approx. 45 mm to the rear.

  7. Completely press hand wheel (arrow) into titling/sliding roof motor.
  8. Check whether titling/sliding roof closes properly.

    IMPORTANT If the titling/sliding roof does not close exactly after this adjustment repeat adjustment.

  9. Connect electrical connector from left rear speaker (H4/7h2).
  10. Install left rear pillar paneling (2).
  11. Install left edge guard (1) on rear pillar.
