Deactivating anti-theft alarm, function - GF80.50-P-2003D

MODEL 170 up to 31.5.98 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) 

MODEL 170 up to 31.5.98 with CODE (552a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) for Switzerland 

The anti-theft alarm (ATA) can be deactivated  by

• Unlocking the vehicle with the remote control key  (Infrared up to 5/97, as of 6/97 and radio)
• Unlocking the vehicle with the mechanical key (lock switch  , , only).

  Signal:  lock switch 1 (SN1, 40Hz)

The PSE control module (combined functions) (A37) receives the instruction to "unlock the vehicle" via the CAN bus and then deactivates all alarm inputs.

The ATA is not deactivated when the vehicle is unlocked

• with the interior switch (CL) (S6/1s2).

  

• Deactivation of the ATA leads to termination of any alarm triggered previously.
• The ATA is triggered when the vehicle is unlocked with the mechanical key, e.g. when a door is opened, if the vehicle was previously locked with the remote control key (except ).
