	Remove/Install

1.1	Remove left side paneling in trunk	When removing left trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1)	AR68.30-P-4800G
2.1	Remove right side paneling in trunk	When removing right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1)	AR68.30-P-4800G
3	Switch on ignition and pivot trunk lid toward rear by actuating soft top switch when Vario roof is closed	Then switch off ignition.
4	Unlock trunk lid in trunk lid lock by hand and move upward
5	Remove retaining clip (2) and bolt (3)
6	Open bolt retainer (4) in direction of arrow and remove bolt (4)
7	Expose hydraulic lines no. 41 and no. 42 when removing right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) and hydraulic lines no. 43 and no. 44 when removing left trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) up to soft top actuation hydraulic unit	Mark installation position of hydraulic lines and electrical leads tied to hydraulic lines: Installation:  Observe markings of installation position.
8	Separate hydraulic lines no. 41 and no. 42 when removing right trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) and hydraulic lines no. 43 and no. 44 when removing left trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) from soft top actuation hydraulic unit	When separating hold a rag around the hydraulic line connections to prevent hydraulic oil from running out. Immediately plug connections on the hydraulic lines and on the soft top actuation hydraulic unit with appropriate plug. Pressure is still present in the hydraulic lines when the Vario roof has been moved with the roof switch and the ignition is not switched off
		Installation:  Observe line coding of hydraulic lines when connecting.	Figure
9	Remove trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) until control cable (5) is accessible.
10	Unhook control cable (5) from trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) and remove trunk lid actuation hydraulic cylinder (1) with hydraulic lines from trunk
11	Install in the reverse order
12	Check oil level of soft top actuation hydraulic unit, correct		AR77.37-P-3501G
