1	Remove rear seat and rear seat backrest	Remove rear seat only.

3	Connect quiescent current retention unit		*WH58.30-Z-1012-09A
4	Disconnect ground cable of battery	To protect against unintended contact, insulate the disconnected ground line.

5	Remove rear fuse box

6	Remove left/right front door sill molding and rear left/right door sill molding	Open the cable duct.
7	Remove the paneling on the left/right B-pillar	Remove only longitudinal member paneling.

9	Remove paneling at the bottom of the A-pillar on the left and right	Open the cable duct.
10	Remove right front floor covering

12	Take out cover of trunk floor
13	Remove spare wheel and jack
14	Remove cargo edge cover
15	Remove side trim in left and right sides of trunk
16	Remove rear bumper
17	Remove complete exhaust system	Only remove the rear muffler as from the threaded connection

20.1	Print document "Trailer hitch, confirmation"	Print out the document "Trailer hitch, certification" and submit on final inspection of the installation For do-it-yourself installers, the detailed installation instructions must be printed out and given to the customer. These must be submitted by the customer on final inspection.
