Retrofit interior motion sensor - AN80.50-P-0100B

MODEL 210.2 as of 1.3.97 with CODE (551a) Antitheft alarm system (ATA)

REMOVING Removing     
1 Remove rear seat cushion    
2 Disconnect ground cable of battery    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR54.10-P-0003A
3 Expose PSE control module    
4 Remove front seat left and right for ex-factory installations for code 551a (ATA).  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR91.10-P-1000F
5 Remove floor covering at rear left and right and place to one side    
6 Open rear left and right cable ducts applies to retrofitted installations only Code 551a (ATA).  
7 Remove floor covering at front left and right and place to one side applies to ex-factory installations for code 551a (ATA) only.  
8 Open cable ducts at left and right in the center applies to ex-factory installations for code 551a (ATA) only.  
9 Fold rear seat back forwards    
10 Remove headliner

11 Remove D-pillar paneling D-pillar, right  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.30-P-4495F
12 Remove side window in load space IMPORTANT The standard side windows in the left and right-hand sides of the load space are to be replaced by glass panels with integrated glass breakage sensors.

INSTALLING Installing     
13 Install side window in load space IMPORTANT Install the side windows at left and right only, install the removed paneling in the load space only after installing the interior motion sensor first.

14 Remove the 4-pin coupling for the interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14) with the 2-pin coupling for the rear right glass breakage sensor (B39/1) and the black (sw) cable for the connection to the rear window defroster out of the rear right cable duct applies to retrofitted only Code 551a (ATA).  
15 Remove 2-pin coupling for the rear left glass breakage sensor (B39) from the rear left cable duct applies to retrofitted installations only Code 551a (ATA).  
16 Connect voltage supply for interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver applies to retrofitted installations only Code 551a (ATA). AN80.50-P-0100-04A 
17 Connect rear window defroster to the interior motion sensor applies to retrofitted installations only Code 551a (ATA). AN80.50-P-0100-05A 
18 Connect/route interior motion sensor's wiring harness applies to ex-factory installations for code 551a (ATA) only. AN80.50-P-0100-02B 
19 Prepare roofliner for installation of interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver unit   AN80.50-P-0100-03A 
20 Install headliner IMPORTANT When installing the roofliner, route the connection line with the 4-pin coupling out of the installation opening for the interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver.

21 Retrofit interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver   AN80.50-P-0100-01A 
22 Fit remaining parts to vehicle    
23 Check functionality of interior motion sensor    
24 Amend special equipment code 882 in FDOK
