	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Remove wiper arm on both sides		AR82.30-P-6100P
2	Open engine hood and move to upright position		AR88.40-P-1000P
3	Remove cover from front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1)
4	Open tie strap (1)
5	Expose lead (1a)
6	Remove lead (2a) from bracket (2) and expose
7	Remove lead (3a) from bracket (3) and expose
8.1	Disconnect connector from multi-function sensor convenience automatic air conditioning (B31)	With CODE (581b) convenience automatic air conditioning	AR83.40-P-6730P
9	Unscrew bolts (5).
10	Unscrew screws (6)
11	Pull water collector (4) off of windshield frame	Loosen water collector (4) from windshield frame with pulling hook in direction of arrow.

12	Remove water collector (4)	Installation:  ensure correct seating of gaskets (7).
13	Install in the reverse order
