REMOVING Removing    
DANGER Injury Hazard!  Windshield wiper mechanism can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism. AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1 Move wiper arms to park position    
2 Open engine hood    
3 Unscrew nuts (1) IMPORTANT Passenger side.  
4 Remove wiper arm (2) IMPORTANT Passenger side.  
5 Unscrew nut (3) IMPORTANT Driver's side.  
6 Remove wiper arm (4) IMPORTANT Driver's side.  
ASSEMBLING Installing     
7 Move wiper motor to parking position   AR82.30-P-6800-01P 
8 Place wiper arm (4) onto wiper system bevel gear NOTES Wiper blade must lie exactly on mark A in the windshield screen printing.  
9 Screw on nut (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Wiper arm nut *BA82.30-P-1004-01A 
10 Place wiper arm (2) onto wiper system bevel gear NOTES The wiper blade must be positioned directly on the marking B in the printed screen of the windshield.  
11 Screw on nuts (1) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Wiper arm nut *BA82.30-P-1004-01A 
12 Close engine hood    
13 Carry out operational check
