REMOVING Removal     
DANGER Risk of explosion from gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1 Connect quiescent current retention unit Except Code (580a) automatic air conditioning

7 Remove wiring harness for air conditioning in engine compartment With CODE (580a) automatic air conditioning

10 Remove cover below instrument panel IMPORTANT Driver's side.

11 Remove fluid level indicator switch for windshield washing unit (S42) Except Code (875) heated windshield washing unit  
12 Remove windshield washer water pump (M5/1) Except Code (875) heated windshield washing unit  
13 Remove all gaskets on the washing water reservoir Except Code (875) heated windshield washing unit  
14 Disassemble front bumper (6)    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR88.20-P-2050P
15 Disassemble front frame crossmember (9)    
16 Assemble in reverse order IMPORTANT Front frame crossmember (9) is new part. Front bumper (6) is new part.
Except CODE (875) heated windshield washing unit: Washing water reservoir (1) is new part.		  
17 Install gasket (2) for HCS pump (M5/2) IMPORTANT New part.  
18 Install HCS pump (M5/2) IMPORTANT New part.  
REMOVING Installing

27 Installation is carried out in reverse order IMPORTANT Stage 2, 1  
28 Perform basic programming with code (450) Taxi version
