	Remove
	Risk of explosion  caused by explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect ground cable of battery

2	Remove headliner
	Remove/install headliner		AR68.30-P-4300P
3.1	Remove upper control panel control unit.	Only with upper control panel control module and TS switch with ATA function display.
	Remove/install overhead control panel control unit	up to 23.04.04	AR54.21-P-1262P
	Remove/install overhead control panel control unit	as of 24.04.04 If interior motion sensor (IMS) is installed, use TS/IMS switch with ATA function display.	AR54.21-P-1262PA
	Install
4	Prepare headliner for installing interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14)		AN80.50-P-0100-03P
5	Retrofit interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14)
	Remove/install interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver		AR80.50-P-9820F
6	Connect/route interior motion sensor connection wiring harness		AN80.50-P-0100-02P
7	Install headliner
	Remove/install headliner		AR68.30-P-4300P
8.1	Install upper control panel control module	Only with upper control panel control module and TS switch with ATA function display.
	Remove/install overhead control panel control unit	up to 23.04.04	AR54.21-P-1262P
	Remove/install overhead control panel control unit	as of 24.04.04 If interior motion sensor (IMS) is installed use TS/IMS switch with ATA function display.	AR54.21-P-1262PA
9	Install remaining parts onto vehicle
10	Check functionality of interior motion sensor
11	Enter new special equipment	When modifying scope of equipment, enter code or designations of corresponding special equipment on vehicle data card and in FDOK. Code 882.
