1	Remove rear seat and rear seat backrest	Remove rear seat only.

2	Remove left backrest side trim
3	Connect quiescent current retention unit		*WH58.30-Z-1012-09A
4	Disconnect ground cable of battery	To protect against unintended contact, insulate the disconnected ground line

6	Remove left front and left rear door sill moldings	Open the cable duct.
7	Remove trim on left B-pillar	Remove only longitudinal member paneling.

9	Remove A-pillar paneling at bottom left	Open the cable duct.
10	Take out cover of trunk floor
11	Remove spare wheel and jack

For do-it-yourself installers, the detailed installation instructions must be printed out and given to the customer. These must be submitted by the customer on final inspection.
