Removing and installing front seat backrest - AR91.29-P-1431K

MODEL 208 with CODE (241) Memory circuit for electrically adjustable left front seat with CODE (242a) Memory circuit for electrically adjustable right front seat with CODE (275a) Memory package (driver's seat, steering column, rearview mirror)

	Removal, installation
1	Remove front seat	Disconnect electrical leads and pneumatic lines	AR91.10-P-1000K
2	Remove cover on front seat backrest	It is not necessary to remove the front seat backrest from the seat frame	AR91.18-P-1820K
3	Disconnect connector (1) from head restraint raise/lower motor (M27m4)
3	Unscrew screw (2)
4	Press cover (3) to side and unscrew screw (4)		*BA91.29-P-1002-01A
		Do not damage cover (3)
5	Remove backrest motor (M27m5) upward
6	Expose electrical lead to left front ESA control module (with memory) (N32/1) or right front ESA control module (with memory) (N32/2)
7	Disconnect connector (5)
8	Reinstall in opposite order
9	Check for proper function
