1.1	Activate the service mode in the TELE AID emergency call system	Only with code 347, 855	AR82.95-P-0005-03AM

	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
2	Disconnect ground cable of battery	Turn key in electronic ignition switch EIS into position "0". Key cannot be withdrawn. Vehicle fitted with code (889) Keyless go: Switch off engine, remove keyless go cards from the vehicle and keep outside the range of the transmitter. Installation:  Read out fault memory after connecting, adjust time display on combination instrument, code radio, normalize power window and activate steering angle sensor. 3	Remove front seats	up to 31.8.02	AR91.10-P-1000M

5.1	Remove rear air conditioning unit.	On vehicles with code 582 rear air conditioning	AR83.50-P-9020M
6	Remove paneling on B-pillar		AR68.30-P-4700M
7.1	Remove rear seat cushion		AR91.12-P-1020MA
8.2	Remove rear seat cushion	With code 401 for rear bucket seats	AR91.12-P-1020M
7.1	Remove center upholstery from bucket seats.
8	Remove right ventilation duct cover (5) and left ventilation duct cover (6) in rear.
9	Unclip right rear footwell illumination (7) and left rear footwell illumination (8).	Unplug connectors
10	Lift rear floor covering (9) and remove toward rear.
11	Install in the reverse order
12	Render electrical system operational	Perform basic programming (normalize windows and sliding roof, etc.).	AR00.19-P-0200M
13.1	Deactivate service mode in TELE AID emergency call system	Only with code 347, 855	AR82.95-P-0005-03AM
14	Perform function check
