3	Drill out fastening rivets (1) of side airbag unit	As of 09/99, a side airbag unit of the new model series is installed in all models; it is secured to the inner door panel using 4 rivets,
4.1	Unscrew bolt (2)	up to 08/99.

5	Remove side airbag unit
6	Disconnect connector (3) from side airbag unit
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Carry out diagnosis	see Diagnosis Manual.
