| Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding with hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. |

| 5 | Pull off heater feed and return hoses, loosen 3 hose clamps | ||
| 6 | Remove instrument panel | Before installing the instrument panel, check for proper functioning. |

| 8 | Remove air ducts in rear compartment /stowage compartment ventilation | ||
| 9 | Take out left floor covering | AR68.20-P-2050F | |
| 10 | Remove floor covering on right | AR68.20-P-2070F | |
| 11 | Remove left/right rear compartment air ducts | ||
| 12 | Pull off ignition/starter switch connector (S2/1) | ||
| 13 | Remove jacket tube | AR46.10-P-0400B | |
| 14 | Remove connector (19) from passenger airbag | ||
| 15 | Disconnect vacuum lines at cockpit separation point (35) | ||
| 16 | Separate blower motor connector | ||
| 17 | Pull off coupling, vacuum valve (Y13) fresh air/recirculating air flap | ||
| 18 | Pull off temperature sensor connector (29) heat exchanger (B10/1) | ||
| 19 | Remove holder for jacket tube separation point (32) on brace (33) | ||
| 20 | Open cable straps (27) | ||
| 21 | Unclip shift lock cables (28) and detach from steering lock and pedal system | ||
| 22 | Remove holder (30), unscrew screw (31) | ||
| 23 | Remove transverse pipe (20). For this purpose, unscrew screws (23) and nuts (22) | ||
| 24 | Remove air ducts for air nozzles on left and right | ||
| 25 | Loosen wiring duct (25), unscrew screws (26) and lay down to side | ||
| 26 | Remove heater housing | ||
| 27 | Install in opposite order |
