1	Remove push-button control module	Vehicles with code 581a automatic air conditioning	AR83.40-P-6350C
2	Remove cover (2) in center console		AR68.20-P-2350K
3	Remove heater and automatic temperature control and operating unit and lay down to side together with disconnected wiring harness	Vehicles with code 580 AC system.	AR83.25-P-1120K
4.1	Remove radio and navigation operating control module (APS)	Vehicles with code 351 auto-pilot system.	AR82.61-P-7412B
4.2	Pull out COMAND control module	Vehicles with code 352 COMAND operating and display system.
5	Open armrest cover
6	Open cup holder cover
7	Open ashtray cover
8	Unclip cover (3) from shift lever using long wedge		Figure
9	Unclip cover (4) and remove
10	Unscrew screws (5) from cover frame (1)
11	Unclip catches (arrows) from cover frame (1) on center console on both sides with puller hook.	For this purpose position puller hook below cover frame, pull upward and unclip single catches (arrow) one after another.

		Installation:  Clip single catches (arrows) on cover frame (1) first at left and then at right from top to bottom, while simultaneously folding back rear cover to rear (bent arrows).
12	Unhook lugs (6) with puller hooks		Fig 3
13	Remove cover frame (1) upward	Installation:  When positioning cover frame fold back cover to rear in area of lugs (6).
14	Install in the reverse order
