NOTES To prevent damage to the control modules, couplings should only be disconnected or connected with "terminal 15R: OFF"  .

  Notes on testing on the APS test program IMPORTANT After the navigation processor (APS) (A2/30)  is replaced, the system is to be commissioned using the APS test program. AD82.61-P-2000-03A

IMPORTANT With wheel and tire combinations which differ from production, the auto pilot system (APS) must be adapted to the revised values (track width and rolling circumference). The calibration is carried out in the test program of the radio and navigation operating unit (APS) (A2/29)     
IMPORTANT The radio code must also be entered after the voltage supply to the navigation processor (APS) (A2/30)  is interrupted (increased anti-theft measure).    
IMPORTANT Interference with radio or satellite reception may occur due to local and atmospheric influences.
Satellite reception is only possible in the open air.
   
IMPORTANT The location is determined using the Global Positioning System data (degrees of longitude and latitude) between 2 and 30 minutes after "ignition ON"  .
