Function of hazard warning flashers - GF82.25-P-2004A
MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081 /281, 210 as of 1.3.97
Function
The hazard flasher switch (S6/1s1) is connected to the driver-side signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) via a discrete line. When the hazard flasher switch (S6/1s1) is actuated, the corresponding input on the driver-side signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) is connected to ground through the switch. The driver-side signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) then actuates all turn signal lamps at a frequency of approx. 1.5 Hz. In addition the LED's for the hazard
flasher indicator in the hazard flasher switch (S6/1s1) and the turn signal indicator lamps in the instrument cluster (A1) as well as the audible turn signal indicator are actuated by the driver-side signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) via discrete lines.
Hazard flashing is possible with the ignition/starter switch in any position.
Bulb failure is not recognized during the hazard flasher function!
