Removing and installing front door lock - AR72.10-P-4011F

	Removal
1	Remove door liner on front door		AR72.10-P-1000F
2	Remove exterior door handle on front door		AR72.10-P-2400F
3	Pull foil off of inner door panel
4	Remove hinge strap
5	Remove crank operated window on front door	Partially remove crank window, move out of sliders only	AR72.10-P-1900E
6	Insert window into window guide rail and push up	Secure against falling with installation wedge	Figure
7	Unclip holder (2) on inner door panel, unhook control cable (1) on door lock and remove
8	Open retainer (3) and remove lock rod (4)
9	Press IRCL line (5) off of door lock IRCL element
10	Drill out pop rivets (8) after knocking back rivet pin with punch	To drill out: use 4.8 mm dia. bit
11	Remove guide rail (9) through installation opening
12	Unscrew screws (11)
13	Unclip lock cover on door lock and inner door panel and remove
14	Unscrew screws (13)
15	Remove door lock (14) through installation opening	On vehicles with IRCL pull out function indicator lead (6)
	Installation
16	Insert door lock through installation opening	On vehicles with IRCL insert function indicator lead (6) and route to door handle
17	Screw in screws (13) and tighten	Installation:  When installing tighten screws on front first	*BA72.10-P-1006-01A
18	Insert lock cover on door lock and inner door panel
19	Install screws (11) for lock cover
20	Insert guide rail (9) through installation opening
21	Fasten guide rail (9) on inner door panel with 4.8 mm pop rivets (8)
22	Connect central locking line (5) to central locking element on door lock
23	Install lock rod (4) on door lock and close retainer (3)
24	Hook control cable (1) onto door lock and clip holder (2) onto inner door panel
25	Push crank window down, insert into sliders and screw in screw on slider
26	Adjust crank operated window on front door		AR72.10-P-1950E
27	Install hinge plate
28	Install exterior door handle on front door	Adjust clearance	AR72.10-P-2400F
29	Check for proper function
30	Glue foil to inner door panel
31	Install door liner on front door		AR72.10-P-1000F
